Evening Of Stars 2008 Volunteer Auction Information Fact Sheet

• Fontbonne Academy celebrated over 50 years of educating young women
• Fontbonne has an enrollment of over 600 young women who reside in 50+ cities and towns in Massachusetts.
• Fontbonne has well over 5000 active alumnae, many of whom live in towns surrounding Boston and Milton.
• Fontbonne's mission is to educate students through a college preparatory program, but also "Through the tradition of Respect, Responsibility, Reconciliation, and Reverence, Fontbonne Academy promotes growth in spirituality, scholarship, and leadership of young women in the changing world." • Fontbonne's "Evening of Stars" celebrates excellence in education for young women at Fontbonne Academy while raising the funds to provide financial support to all qualified students subsidizing part of the actual tuition.
• At the "Evening of Stars” there will be cocktails, hors d'ouevres, dinner, music provided by a DJ, silent auction tables, live auction and more.
• Maria Perry, winner of Popsearch 2007 vocal competition, sponsored by the Boston Pops, will be performing her cabaret show of jazz standards and contemporary classics.
• The gala event will be held at Lombardo’s in Randolph on Saturday, March 29th, 2008.
• Attendance is expected to be approximately 500 and will draw from current parents, alumnae and special guests from the area community.

To make this event a success, we need the support of businesses in one or more of the following areas.

• DONATED ITEMS are crucial to the success of the Live and Silent Auctions. The most desired items can be found on the "Wish List".
• CASH DONATIONS ($25-anysize).
• UNDERWRITERS ($250 - $1000) are needed to help defray the cost of the event. This allows more of the dinner ticket and auction proceeds to benefit the school.
• ADVERTISING ($50 - $500) in the Auction Catalog is a way to reach a focused yet diverse group at a small cost.
